Itinerary

Day 1 Golden Hour at Angkor & Temple Reflections

Morning (Arrival & Check-in): Arrive at Siem Reap International Airport (REP), where your private CTI vehicle and English-speaking photography guide will greet you. Transfer to your carefully selected boutique hotel, allowing time to refresh and settle in.
Afternoon (Angkor Thom Exploration): After a delightful local lunch, we’ll head to Angkor Thom. We’ll strategically visit the Bayon Temple, with its captivating smiling faces, focusing on the interplay of light and shadow on the ancient stone. Explore the Terrace of the Elephants and the Leper King, capturing the intricate carvings and grand scale.
Late Afternoon/Sunset (Angkor Wat Reflections): Our main focus will be Angkor Wat. We’ll guide you to the iconic reflection pools, aiming to capture the temple’s magnificent silhouette as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky with fiery hues. Our guide will assist with camera settings for low light and long exposures.
Evening: Enjoy a relaxed dinner at a local restaurant, followed by an optional brief review session of your day’s captures with your guide.

Day 2Jungle Temples & Rural Charm

Early Morning (Ta Prohm & Preah Khan): We’ll rise early to catch the soft morning light at Ta Prohm, the “Tomb Raider” temple, where ancient trees embrace crumbling stones, offering dramatic compositions. Then, venture to Preah Khan, another majestic temple engulfed by the jungle, providing unique opportunities for architectural and nature photography.

Late Afternoon: Return to Siem Reap.

Day 3Floating Village & Departure

Morning (Kampong Phluk Floating Village): We’ll embark on a boat trip to Kampong Phluk, a unique stilt village on the Tonle Sap Lake (seasonal conditions apply). This is a vibrant location for documentary and environmental portraiture, capturing life on the water, floating schools, and bustling fishing activities. Our guide will ensure respectful interactions.
Late Morning (Siem Reap Market & Artisan Visit): Return to Siem Reap and explore the Old Market (Psar Chas) – a sensory feast of colors, textures, and local interactions, perfect for street photography. Optionally, visit Artisan d’Angkor to capture traditional Cambodian craftsmanship.
